Nanomox

From waste to world-class materials — reshaping global supply chains

The Challenge

Modern industry depends on critical and high-performance materials, yet their supply chains remain carbon-intensive, wasteful and globally concentrated. Valuable metals in batteries, steel by-products and industrial waste are routinely lost, while new materials are still produced through energy-intensive processes and virgin mining.

This creates unnecessary emissions, resource loss and growing supply-chain risk. We need a new way to keep valuable resources in circulation — and transform waste into the next generation of high-performance materials modern industry needs.

The Opportunity

Nanomox is creating a new generation of high-performance materials from waste.

Our OIS® platform uses low-energy, circular chemistry to recover valuable metals from batteries, steel by-products and other industrial residues, then convert them into advanced inorganic materials for cosmetics, electronics, rubber, energy and other critical industries.

By combining resource recovery with high-performance material production, Nanomox can reduce dependence on virgin mining, lower energy use and emissions, and create more local, resilient supply chains.

The opportunity is not just to recycle waste — it is to redefine how advanced materials are sourced, made and supplied.

The Venture

Business Model

Nanomox operates a dual business model across advanced materials and metal recovery.

For advanced materials, we generate revenue through the direct sale of high-performance inorganic materials to customers in cosmetics, rubber, electronics, energy and other industrial markets.

For metal recovery from waste streams, we plan to scale through technology licensing and strategic partnerships, enabling waste processors and industrial partners to recover valuable metals locally using our OIS® platform.

This model combines near-term product revenues with a scalable, asset-light route to deploy our technology across multiple waste streams, materials and geographies.

Competition

Nanomox competes with conventional advanced-material manufacturers that rely on virgin feedstocks and energy-intensive production, as well as traditional metal-recovery technologies based on pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical processes.

Our first use case is zinc recovery from steel-industry by-products, where current routes are dominated by inefficient pyrometallurgical processing or disposal to landfill. Nanomox offers a lower-energy alternative that can recover zinc locally and convert it into high-performance materials.

Our differentiation is the ability to recover valuable metals from complex waste streams and transform them directly into advanced materials using one circular platform.

This creates the potential to disrupt established recovery markets by improving resource efficiency, reducing energy use and landfill dependence, and creating new value from materials that are currently underutilised or discarded.

Traction

Nanomox has taken OIS® from the lab to a scalable, industrially validated platform.

We are preparing to launch Nanomox ZnO for cosmetics, our first advanced-material product, and have already received commercial enquiries from five continents, spanning independent brands through to large corporates.

In metal recovery, we are working with major steel companies and steel by-product recyclers to validate zinc recovery from industrial waste streams and pave the way for large-scale deployment.
