The world generates biological data too slowly and expensively, only in labs, days after it is needed. So we act blind. Doctors over prescribe antibiotics, farmers lose crops to undetected pathogens or over spray pesticides, and food supply chains cannot track contaminants. Critical decisions get made without data.

The Opportunity

Superposition.bio captures biological data at the point of need and turns it into predictive intelligence. ELLA, our patented electrochemical technology, converts cheap qualitative rapid tests into quantitative, lab grade, smartphone read diagnostics at a fraction of the cost. Every result feeds proprietary datasets that power machine learning across health, agriculture, and food.

We make money by licensing ELLA to LFA manufacturers, selling consumables per test, and charging recurring SaaS and data fees for the analytics layer, where the margin compounds.

Competition

We are the only platform that puts lab-grade, quantitative molecular detection into an ordinary rapid test, read by a smartphone tap with no reader and no battery, at under a dollar a test, and turns every result into structured data nobody else can generate at scale.

Traction

We have validated ELLA where it counts. Our science is peer reviewed, reaching 89% agreement with RT-qPCR in the lab and 95% with ELISA in field trials in Tanzania, at under a dollar per test. The work has attracted over 2 million dollars in equity free funding, including Gates Foundation support.
